The Differentiation of Criminal Proceeding (according to the Charter of Criminal Proceedings of 1864)
The Charter of Criminal Proceedings of 1864 provides for three kinds of criminal proceeding in the criminal prosecution: common, short and more difficult - proceeding in the trial court with the participation of jury. The grounds of demarcation of criminal proceedings according to the degree of complexity are the character and degree of gravity of the offence as well as the category of cases which is possible to investigate by the court with the participation of class representatives and court with the participation of jury.
