Territorial Organization of the Local Self-Government and the Process of the Municipal Formations Enlargement in the Altai Territory

The article deals with a number of problems connected with the efficient differentiation of the municipal formations in the Altai Territory according to the level of economic development, quantity and density of the population, number of rural territories. The most important trend of the territorial structure improvement is the optimization of a municipal formations quantity in the form of unification.
