Effective Means of Projective Diagnostics Using as Pre-School Children Personality Psychological Guidance
The article deals with the area of projective methods to diagnose pre-school children’s personality development. It analyzes theoretical approaches to pre-school children personality development diagnostics by means of projective methods and systematizes effective means of projective diagnostics. Activities of the educational psychologist, guiding preschoolers, are considered to be of particular relevance due to new regulations in preschool education field. The author discloses diagnostic possibilities of projective techniques for psychological support of preschoolers. Projective methods can be best and effectively suited for objectifying pre-schoolers’ personality characteristics. The above — mentioned methods allow revealing some pre-schoolers’ personal qualities that are difficult to disclosure by means of other methods. The author gives a detailed description of 5–6 year-old children’s personality characteristics using projective diagnostics results. The importance is shown of collecting some diagnostics information about the child’s personality development thorough analysis and a detailed interpretation of projective research data by the educational psychologist. Attention is paid to the fact that personal diagnostics as a component of psychological guidance structure makes it possible to provide a child with a timely psychological aid.
