Factors that cause the occurrence of anorexic syndrome and reasons of its occurrence in different age groups are highlighted and their psychological characteristic is given. It is justified that anorexic syndrome negatively influence on human psychological development, i.e. on the system of values, image of the female attractiveness, values of personal development, intelligence, professional skills etc. The study results are given.
