In clause one of the actual theoretical and practical problems, connected with technology of occurrence of young men in social space in conditions of destruction of traditional institutes of socialization is considered. In the center of consideration - socializing function of a masscult which defines values of young men, changes installations of adults, models behavior. Semantic layers, images, models which are thrown in mass consciousness are analyzed. The most typical, popular images of "heroes of our time" are illustrated through different forms and genres of a masscult. Allocation in a masscult of a constant kernel of culture of people promoting preservation, and time, passing, will allow finding new techniques of measurement of a masscult in applied sociological research.
