The issues on the degree of behavior freedom of a person in the Russian legal procedure are discussed. Dependence of totality of rights of the participants of a criminal procedure, defined in the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, on the level of legal culture of Russian citizens, on the factual resistance of officials, on the necessity of providing personal rights and the weight of consequences of its breaking is defined. The concrete amendments for establishment of limits of behavior freedom of a person in the criminal procedure in Russia.
