This article is devoted to study of the philosophical contents of such a notion as "I" and short indication of specifics for "classical" and "non-classical" ways in the deciding of the problem of selfness. A great attention in given work is paid to the research connected with the concepts of early Buddhism and modern American philosopher D. Dennett, where traditional philosophical belief about existence of "I" is completely refused. Realizing the reasons for such refutations the author comes to the conclusion that they appear as a result of special way of the world description basing on facts shown in external reality of the subjective experience and leaving aside internal experience of the subject. In conclusion there is a thought that real existence of "I" mainly depends on the philosophers, on their philosophical intuitions and preferences but not on the degree of argumentation in one or another philosophical concept.
