The article focuses on the problem of financing national economy modernization providing its innovative vector, considers possible sources of investment financing, justifies thesis about increasing role of a credit resource in ensuring the country investment development, outlines the priority areas of investment placement. The article also contains opinions about what is more appropriate to do in the current conditions in terms of economic development: to consume or to accumulate?
