Administrative-Territorial Reorganization in the South Western Siberia in 1780-1796 and Its Reflection in Cartographical Sources
This paper explores one of the most dynamic administrative reorganization in Siberia, connected with the implementation of province reform by Catherine the IInd. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of sources the bounds of new administrative units are reproduced. A pioneering effort is undertaken to reconstitute the lines of Barnaul and Burla districts of Kolyvan region which were existed in 1780-1782. The outputs of research are accumulated in detailed drawing map, reflecting administrative-territorial reorganization of South Western Siberia in above-mentioned time.
