Hunting scenes take a special place in the petroglyph art of the population of Mountain Altay epoch in the early Middle Ages. In these scenes the hero is looking for dangerous and quick animals. Consideration of these scenes allowed us to draw a conclusion that they illustrated "prestigious" kinds of hunting more often. Mainly, notable Turkic soldiers were engaged in such kinds of hunting as military trainings or some kind of entertainments.
