The Jewelry Made from the Mollusks Corbicula and Glycymeris Shells in the Burial Ground of Andronovskaya CultureE in the Chekanovsky Log-10
This article discusses the jewelry made from the shells of the mollusks Corbicula Glycymeris which was found in the burial ground belong to the developed Bronze Age in the Chekanovsky Log-10. At the Altai Territory the locations of these mollusks are not fixed, in fact, there are no types of deposits, where they could be found. The pendants made from the shells of Corbicula, Glycymeris indicate some connection between the population of the Altai region and Central Asia, which could be mediated and implemented through the contacts with the presenters of Abashevskaya culture, or its the result of people migration from Central Asia to the Altai region.
