The Problems of Socio-Cultural and Economic Adaptation of Kazakhs Adopted Orthodoxy in Kirghiz Mission of Omsk Eparchy in the End of the 19th - the Beginning of the 20th Centuries

The article deals with the problems of socio-cultural adaptation of Kazakhs from Stepnoye general-governorship who adopted orthodoxy in the end of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries. The problem of spreading of Russian language, school education, Russian way and mode of life among the newly baptized Kazakhs must be solved by the Kirghizskaya Orthodox Mission which was founded in the 1880s.
