The Image of Japan in Notions of the Soviet Military Elite in 1930s

Consciousness, psychology, mind of the soviet military elite in complicated and contradicted period for the Soviet Army are considered in this work. An attitude of soviet military elite to outer world and especially to Japan, to military and geopolitical threat is analyzed. Soviet military elite changed its opinion under influence of international situation, opposition of military groups, struggle between old and new elite, war conflicts in 1938, 1939.
