The article describes patriotic labor initiative of the rural and urban population of the Stavropol Region directed at a wide assistance to the Red Army during the Great patriotic war. The data on the participation of Stavropol region workers in the creation of the defense fund, on the subscription on State loan bonds and the collection of presents to be given to soldiers and commanders has been analyzed and summarized. We came to the conclusion, that labor patriotism of workers was one of the main factors in a victory over fascist Germany during the Great patriotic war (1941-1945)
