"One's own like another" in school historical education
Modern culture stops considering itself the best and the last, starts showing respect to the past and admitting the inexhaustibility of senses for actuality in it. Historical education is appealed to overcome the increasing gap among generations. The gap leads to the transmission violation of the inner values and social experience.
Common memory of the cultural group is not the passive keeper of culture, but is a part of its textual mechanism. During the reconstruction of the "epoch spirit", students learn how to cognize their own another from the past, and, at the same time, to cognize their own like another.
