As the rule, social works on massmedia are directed to solve three questions: what does massmedia do, how does they do it and what phenomenon they are? It supposes reveals of social functions, analysis process of interactions between massmedia and audience and consideration ontology of massmedia. Theory methods used in this sphere have enough range: from behaviorism and functionalism to postmodernism constructions. Interdisciplinary approach is actual too. It allows to discovery mass communications as complexity and many-sided phenomenon.
