"Bereft of God, of inspiration...": language faculty of a contemporary school leaver

The article is devoted to the analysis of the contemporary language situation as it is perceived within the framework of teaching Russian as a Native Language (RNL). The results of the Associative Experiment and the Questionnaire which involved Altai State University and Barnaul Law Institute preparatory courses participants facilitated to outline and analyze the language faculty of the contemporary University applicant. They also helped to obtain a teacher - concept model through the eyes of the school leaver.
