Cemeteries as the Element of Planning Structure of Settlements: Indication Possibilities and Modern Problems of Planning
Planning structures of settlements include a great number of elements which interact with each other, have specific functions, and are situated relative to each other in a certain way. In many cultural traditions cemeteries are one of the integral parts of planning structures of settlements. Cemeteries have important social and economic significance in the life of society and can serve as indicators of a number of characteristics of the village.
