Pedagogical Features of Distance Learning in the Moodle Environment
The problem of distance learning is becoming increasingly important. It is beyond any doubt that such training will take a strong position in the educational system. However, at present the organization of various forms of training based on distance technologies requires special attention.The article examines the pedagogical features of distance technologies, which are becoming an integral part of university education; offers technologies for the transition of a higher school to distance learning; forecasts possible outcomes. Emphasis is placed on the use of distance learning technologies in the teaching of disciplines on Masters’ programs. The description is given to possible organization in graduate school of distance learning system Moodle. The article presents the experience of using Moodle in the course “Methods of Teaching Mathematics and Informatics in Secondary and Higher School” designed for the graduates of Altai State University; shows that the high efficiency of the educational process is achieved through the combination of various forms of distance learning with traditional forms of learning.
