Correlation of the Palm Print Elements of Skin with Human Anthropometrical Characteristics
According to the principles of integrative biology and medicine, constitutional signs of a human body are interconnected among themselves. This correlation takes place in a continuum of morphological characteristics. One of the aspects of integrative biology is studying of connections between dermatoglyphics indicators and other signs of a human body. Sufficient data on correlation between fingerprint patterns with various somatic characteristics of the human was stored. Morphological correlates of a palm print are less studied. The correlation of palm print elements of the person with his anthropometrical characteristics has been investigated. 176 healthy people at the age of 20–21 (48 men and 128 women) were surveyed. The assessment of palm lines indicators was carried out separately for the right and left hands. Using palmoskopiya method sidneev type and single flexion crease type were estimated. It is shown that somatic healthy people have a connection between characteristics «a chord of the slanting line of a palm», «a thumb corner», «a chord of the cross line in relation to palm width», registered mainly on the left palm. Within the separate anthropometrical indicators there is a connection between sidneev types and single flexion crease type with anthropometrical parameters.
