Internet use in Bioelementology Research Projects
In the paper, Internet research infrastructure and its components are discussed. Existing research networks and virtual environments are analyzed, and the opportunities provided for joint research activities of scientists are outlined. Necessities for development of a special online research network for scientists in bioelementology are provided. A proposed virtual research network can serve as an information and communication space for dialogue between scientists in bioelementology; it can help take part in the planned research activities, or already ongoing; it would be possible to organize competitions, conferences, internships, to hold scientific discussions to share results; it will be possible to provide the necessary information about the largest existing research schools and their projects, terms of various grant researches, as well as specific requests and suggestions from businesses and manufacturers.
