The article examines the problem of mutual impact of migration and suburban space in Siberian city. Migration in the Irkutsk suburbs determines specific development of suburban space here which become to be attractive for inner and trans-border migrants. Owing to some economic, social, cultural features the suburban space becomes to be favorable for the formation of new mechanisms and practices in mutual adaptation of the migrants and host society.
