Processes of the Adaptation of Jews in the Siberian Society in the Second Half of the XIXth - the Beginning of the XXth Centuries
Article is devoted to researching processes of adaptation of Jews in the Siberian society in the second half of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth centuries. In this time the Siberian Jews have formed rather specific community, considerably differing from fellow tribesmen of all other territories of the Russian Empire. Peculiar features of the Siberian Jews were generated under the influence of an originality of the Siberian space (both in geographical, and in social sense). At the same time they remained to be Jews, keeping the ethno-cultural originality. As a result Jews have managed to be integrated successfully into the Siberian society and to adapt for new conditions, becoming one of the components of the Siberian society.
