Basing on numerous documentary and archive sources the article shows relations between republican TV studios and different level party bodies during "Khruschev’s Thaw". The author made a conclusion based on detailed analysis that local administration politics towards republican mass-media was determined by tough regulation of regional life from the center, as well as by bureaucratic system of centralized direction in all spheres of soviet society life.
