The historical-political researches of Western and Russian Canadianist do not mark out 1920s as the period of the swift building of Canadian society. The author believes this period formed the basis of Canadian nation and its further political development on the way of liberal social reforming.
In author#s mind the development of all sides of life was the basis of further successes in Canada.
These years formed the basis of Canadian liberal tradition, which defined the reformist course of M. King#s liberal government. The main problem of Canadian nation#s unity have been solved successfully by M. King#s government and helped continue the holding and the completion of #The Second National Policy#.
The author emphasizes the choiceless of the political leadership in Canada in 1920s. Neither the Conservative party of Canada nor arose the widening progressive movement were not able lead necessary reformist actions at the beginning of century.
