Arts and Сrafts of Sayan-Altai of the Boundary I-II Thousand A.D. and Turkic Religious

Medieval arts and crafts of the Sayan-Altai region in the Central Asia was represented by the most mass and widely widespread nonferrous metal ornaments of military equipment: harnesses of a horse, a belt of the horseman, details of his clothes and accompanying subjects, the weapon. Most elements and motives is borrowed from art of the Middle and Near East, Middle Asia, Eastern Turkestan, China. But we can say about selection of foreign prototypes, according to traditional Turkic outlook, religion, beliefs, mythology. The analysis of rare anthropomorphous-subject images also testifies to their conformity to traditional outlook. Characteristic for them borrowed iconography (so as for some vegetable, geometric and zoomorphic motives), including, apparently, Manichaean, is only the means for an embodiment in the graphic form own traditional ideas: authorities, its divinities, hierarchy; the great goddess-mother in her different roles. The fixed influences of alien religions (the Manichaeism, may be the Buddhism)
, apparently, were one of sources of graphic forms for arts and crafts of Sayan-Altai region of boundary I-II thousand A.D.
