Mymesis-character of medieval ethics

Everybody has to make the moral choice. The upper bounds of moral requirements being set by our society are often unreal. It is a religious and knightly ideal in medieval ethics. What's the reaction of a usual man? He accepts the medieval ideal as a game, as unreality and he doesn't follow it, he only imitates as he does.
