In the clause of V.V. Kornev the attempt is undertaken to comprehend concept "thing", which though frequently is used in philosophy and daily practice, but still has too foggy and superfluous sense. The technique of the author consists in original narrowing of volume of the given category and sight on it on the part of the philosophical anthropology. In final definition the language, symbolical and psychological status of a thing is especially emphasized: "the thing is qualitatively expressed in object desire of the man, is functional symbolizing by language". General paradigms of research are thus semiotics, analytical discourse, structuralism and poststructuralism.
