Perfecting the Institution of Guardianship

The article deals with the analysis of guardianship as a legal institution, its current state nature, goals and problems.

The article supports the idea of the current need for the norms perfecting guardianship over disabled or incapable citizens. The need is caused by the changes in economic and social conditions, as well as by the trend in the Russian law-system to the global protection of rights and interests each person has.

The author offers a complex of different means aimed at the increase of the analyzed institution efficiency. The author's principle offer is the introduction of the agreement, as the basis of guardianship.
