The article based on an analysis of previously unpublished sources, an attempt was made to define the role of the corporation match and fur factory “N.P. Rilov and F.P. Lesnikov” in the creation of new forms of association of big capital in the fur trade. The author found that the formation of “The Projected Сorporation in the north of the Yakutsk region” took place in two stages. In the period of 1916-1917 years the shareholders of corporation “Rilov and Lesnikov” were active negotiations with representatives of the trading house “The Heirs A.I. Gromova” to join the founders of the company. In 1918 year held filing of memorandum of “The Projected Сorporation in the north of the Yakutsk region” and the size of the capital. At the same time there was a transfer of the case fur Gromov’s in Kusyur to the balance of the new corporation. According to the main office of the society, the department in Kyusyur in 1918 year, was in decline, has been on account of the debt without movement. The desire of the founders of the northern affairs drawn from department in Kyusyur profitable venture resulted in the diversion of part of the working capital by buying large lots of fur and the weakening of the society as a competitive struggle for the northern fishing grounds of Yakutsk region. Despite the competition from local merchants, as well as american traders, “The Projected Сorporation in the north of the Yakutsk region” in 1918-1919 years reached a high level of annual turnover from buying large lots of fur. This was facilitated by the involvement of additional working capital the main founder - the corporation match and fur factory “N.P. Rilov and F.P. Lesnikov”. At the same time, firms, part of a new corporation, retained their economic independence.
