The Ceramics Settlement Novoilinka-VI (on the Results of Works 2013–2014)
In 2014, at the settlement Novoilinka-VI investigated the long-term (winter) home Eneolithic. Found the remains of dwelling size 7*6 m. In the area of the excavation were parts of else two dwellings. The space between the dwellings full of different objects (household pits, columnar pits, etc.). The archaeological collections received in 2014 include tens of thousands of artifacts. The bulk of the findings relates to the Eneolithic and dates from the first half - middle of the III millennium BC. The ceramics collection have much in common with Eneolithic monuments of the Altai, Baraba and Northern Kazakhstan. The difference is that, in the settlement Novoilinka-VI found tableware decorated in “geometric” style. This is due to the location of settlements in the buffer zone between the “comb-hole” cultures West Siberian type (bayrykskoy, ekateriniskoy, kiprinskoy) and “geometric” Kazakh type (botayskoy and tersekskoy).
