Genesis of the Definition “Educational Technology” in the Context of Modern Russian Education
The article is devoted to modern judgment of the concept “educational technology”. It considers and interprets various concepts: training methods, pedagogical technology, educational technology in the context of a humanitarian paradigm of modern Russian education. At present one of the most topical issues for the education in the Russian Federation is the need to understand and create new educational technologies taking into account modern subject matters and transition to-level training. The technology is an objective process of evolution in education. The priority of technological justifications over productive relations served as a starting point for educational technologies. The modern educational technology integrally combines traditional elements of the previous experience and modern realities of progress, humanization and democratization in the society. The modern educational technology has to ensure achievement of a certain level of training, to be effective by the results, optimal by the terms of implementation, cost, effort and money.
