Features of Extremist Crimes Qualification in Consideration of the Linguistic Examination
The article considers the issues of crimes qualification of extremist orientation. The study has integrated, interdisciplinary nature, as the authors consider the extremist crimes qualification based on the conclusion of linguistic analysis. The authors take into consideration that linguistic examination findings have a special significance for the qualification of crimes, that’s why they formulate a list of necessary questions to ask the linguist examiner. This work reveals the characteristics of the statements that can be recognized as extremist. In addition, the work offers the typical errors of the preliminary investigation bodies, which are made when commissioning expert evidence. In addition to linguistic expertise the work highlights the peculiarities of psycholinguistic examination, which is carried out by non-governmental organizations. The authors do not only disclose the features of the linguistic analysis, but also indicate the problems arising during such examinations, show the problem-solving approaches used in academic and law enforcement activity. Theoretical concepts presented in the study are illustrated by examples of judicial practice.
