Some Psychological Aspects of Management Activity
The following abstract is a brief psychological analysis of various approaches to management and its understanding as a fundamental socio-psychological phenomenon and compulsory requirement of joint cooperation effectiveness. The article traces the objectively required historical trend of «humanization» or the psychological component of the leading managerial structures; gives positive direction to the management theories from the strict «task work system» to the forced recognition of «human factors » role in industries and to the proclamation of the «human relationships» doctrine. Ideological categories, moral principles and values, which are evidently present in any management theories, are described in the study. The formation of a modern national paradigm of management is considered on the basis of new approaches to the functioning of economic entities as open, socially oriented systems. The paper also discusses the main classic theories of leadership. The case is made for the focused study of just subjective, semantic aspects of management activity.
