The article is devoted to the problems of prevention of suicidal risk among population of different age in Russian society. The author defines and describes social problems, conditions and factors of determining problems and difficult prevention of suicidal risk. The article includes different aspect of prevention, such as, social, economic, financial, psychologically, and other. The author describes the basic problems of prevention including deficiency of system, co-operation, financial management of special social program on first and second of suicidal prevention. The author defines an important role of prevention among adult and elderly population because they are characterized by the maximum of suicidal risk. These ideas are proved by the results of some social research in 6 territories of Russian society. The author defines some directions of effective prevention of suicidal risk. The article may be interesting for specialists in sociology of risk and sociology of deviations.
