The Influence of the Buddhist and Muslim Clergy on Educating the Peoples of National Areas in the Southern Russia in the Late XIX - Early XX Centuries

In traditional communities the clergy was the authoritative and influential force, and it took leading positions in education of ethnic societies of the South Russian region. The purpose of this article is to consider a role played by Muslim and Buddhist clergy in education of the people of the South Russia at the end of XIX - the beginning of the XX centuries.
