The History of Engineering and Technical Education in the Development of Science and Technology

The author considers the division of engineering and technical education into periods and the history of their development in science and technology development phases: tool production, mechanization, machine production, automation and cybernetic stage. Their role and influence on the scientific and technological progress are revealed.
