The author proposes that in the early period of the culturegenesis formation the Buryats had some rituals defining the girl's biological reaching womanhood. Some specific features fixed a period of puberty are well preserved. They are expressed in the clothes, decorations, hairdo, rules of behavior, etiquette. Their analysis cleared up the mythological traces of werewolf, bogatyr and shamanism in the archetype of devotion: devotion, death and sexuality.
