The author determines three model levels to research mountain constructions - macro-, meso- and mega-levels, which are necessary and sufficient for poly-scale studying. Elementary mountains, ranges of mountains, highlands and belts they formed are allocated as typomorphic objects. Structural features of their mutual relations are characterized on examples of researching the South-Asian and the Central-Asian mountain constructions. Special attention is paid to the Altai mountain systems.
