The work offers new methods to search and study archeological monuments on the basis of remote sounding data. The author worked out and tested methods of computer decoding for the investigation of multispectral space pictures of high resolution for mass searching and identifying archeological objects. Indicator characteristics for borrow morpho-metrical decoding which are presented by vegetative indexes and synthesized index images are determined. The paper proposes and uses algorithm of the linear filtration (convolution), allowing to raise quality of the winter pictures decoding. By means of a mathematic-statistical estimation of pictures informational content on different spectrum channels interrelations between parameters of a projective covering and morpho-metrical characteristics of archeological monuments are defined. It will form a basis for their ranging.
