The article is devoted to the study of the history of the Russian Right liberal parties in the Soviet historical science from 1920s. It is mentioned that the activities of the party "Union of October 17" and allied parties were analyzed from the rigid viewpoints of the class approach - that's why soviet researchers failed to handle this problem impartially. By the end of the historiographic period the process of study of the Right Liberals began to improve, that allowed to qualify them as the conservative wing of the Russian liberalism. Proceedings of the Soviet historians at the second half of 1980s - the beginning of 1990s were notable for greater reliability and they served as a basis for successful continuation of studies in the modern Russian historiography.
