The article is dedicated to an issue of new ideas, introduced by the Internet into the sphere of Russian public policy. The research is based on the example of use in the policy the Internet-blogs (mainly - one of the most popular - #Live Journal#) and #social networks#. Authors discover three most important tendencies of use blogs: 1) for providing the information and consolidation of supporters and coordination of their actions; 2) as an area for propaganda and approbation of new ideas; 3) as a tool and area for fighting against political opponents. Separately are characterized specific features of #social networks#, which are now playing increasingly important role in social and political life of Russia.
