Political Parties - Main Participants of Electoral Process in Russia

There given characteristic of the last changes of electoral legislation and their effect on the development of political parties in Russia. The role of parties in modern legislation process in Russia abruptly increased– in connection with translation to proportional system with transition to proportional system of State Duma election and typical tendency of transition to the given system in regional parliaments election. Consequences of increase of qualification for parties are analyzed. In the article are also given recommendations of more effective functioning of political parties in modern conditions.
