The article deals with of the analysis of the process of the realization of the higher education reform in the Altai Territory. It discloses the problem, which are being solved by the Altai Higher school depicts the state of the territorial higher educational establishments and their progress in the field of education quality upgrading, educational institutions integration and scientific achievements. The author gives attention to adaptation problems of graduates at labor market. The article presents the tasks to be settled by the higher school in the nearest future.
