The Genoa Conference of 1922 was of the great importance in a series of international gatherings which took place after the end of the First World War. The article examines the development of British Government's program to meet the need for European reconstruction. From the point of changing the Lloyd George Government' politics towards Germany, France and Soviet Russia the author investigates the British and Lloyd George's personal goals to arrange the Genoa Conference. It enables her to assess the Genoa results in terms of success and failure of the British European politics.
