D.A. Klements Historical and Cultural Researches in Mongolia
The article is devoted to the analysis of scientific activity of the well-known Russian archeologist, historian and ethnographer D.A. Klements. Discovering monuments of the historical and cultural heritage dated from an antiquity to the ethnographic present time (Henteysky and Ikhe-hanyn-norskaya runic inscriptions, ruins of fortresses, cult constructions, etc.) were the result of his work in Mongolia in 1891-1896. D.A. Klements formulated still actual versions about the origin of Bronze era and early Scythian time monuments, the concept of genesis of Turkic culture, its value in medieval history of Central Asia.
