Basing on studying morphologic homogeneous communities # ranges of mountains # as elementary structures of mountain associations using the photographic materials received at space researches the author analyzes cha#racter of possible interrelation between them for the Altay and adjoining mountain constructions. On an example of the Altay the internal polysystem structure of mountain belts and countries is shown.

Character of mutual relation of ranges leads to conclusions about necessity to use a concept of their relative age, representations about polychronic and heterogenic character of orogenesis.
