Extracting Ions of Zinc and Cadmium by Hexafluorophosphate 1-Butyl-3-Methylimidazolium
The extraction of zinc and cadmium by ionic liquid - hexafluorophosphate 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium is examined. It is shown that chloride ions supplier (HCl, NaCl) in the aqueous phase does not affect on the degree of extraction of zinc chloride complexes. Antipyrine works on the extraction efficiency substantially. Zinc ions in the presence of antipyrine are extracted in the ionic liquid from chloride solutions much better.
With respect to cadmium iodide complexes it is revealed that they are quantitatively extracted without introducing additional ligantdov.
Key words: extraction, zinc, cadmium, chloride solutions, iodide solutions, ionic liquid, hexafluorophosphate 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium, antipyrine.
