Socio-economic Aspects of the Development of Monasteries in Pre-Mongol Rus in Soviet Historiography of 1920-1940s

The Soviet scholars of 1920-1940s consider the socio-economic activities of the monasteries in various aspects, namely: formation and development of agriculture, charity, trade operations, saving up money at the expense of deposits.
