Influence of Season of Birth on the Histological Structure of the Skin of Newborn Lambs Southern Meat Breed

The article presents a comparative analysis of morphological features typical for skin of newborn lambs of southern meat breed which were born in different seasons (autumn and spring).
The researches have established that the animals which were born in autumn have more developed hair follicles and fibers, more powerful layer and thinner reticular layer. In our opinion, it is connected with the conditions of feeding and keeping of their mothers.
